Photomodulation is a natural method of light-based skin rejuvenation that stimulates the body’s own natural processes to counteract the effects of aging and to heal faster. It can used in combination with other treatments, such as Botox, Fillers, Chemical Peels and Microneedling. It is also an excellent post-procedure treatment to reduce swelling and bruising, and to increase the healing process.

The Omnilux LED system, used in my practice, has proven itself over the last thirty years to be an effective treatment for acne, peri-orbital wrinkles (crow’s feet) and tissue regeneration. It is available as a stand-alone treatment, or an add-on chosen by discerning clients to enhance their skin care treatments.

The system uses three wavelengths: blue light (415nm), used to treat acne; red light (633nm), specifically targeting collagen production and increased turnover of collagen and elastin fibres; and near infra-red light (830nm), which provides deeper stimulation to skin volume. All three wavelengths can be used for several indications, increasing the effectiveness of your skin care.
